A haven of relaxation and spirituality, Maredsous Abbey continues to pride in the traditional welcome offered by Benedictine monks in an exceptional natural setting. Heirs to a 1,000 year-old tradition, the Maredsous monks welcome you at the Visitors Centre, cafeteria, souvenir/book shop and free playground.

All the family will love the mouth-watering treats in store with the Abbey's gastronomic produce, including beers, cheeses and Maredsous breads. Our restaurant-tea room pampers you with an attentive waiter service and delicious local produce, including succulent pastries fresh from the Abbey kitchen.
