Since the opening of a new wing adjoining the Carmelite convent, the Musée de la Photographie is the largest and one of the most important museums of photography in Europe. Through permanent collections and temporary exhibitions, relive photography's adventure from its invention to contemporary creations. Discover the magic of its techniques, the range of its functions and the original aspect of its aesthetics. Educational activities are organised for all age brackets. The museum has also a library, a shop and the Museum Café which looks out on a park.
