Discover the Slate Mine & Bluestone Museum Recht, a jewel of eastern Belgium's industrial heritage.
From the 18th to the early 20th century, the village of Recht was a centre of stone exploitation and stonemasonry.
Covering a subterranean circuit of 800 meters visitors will immerse into the mysterious world of the blue rocks with the stunning stone-mining halls and get to know all about the geological history and the hard and dangerous work of the miners deep below ground.
The Bluestone Museum presents bluestone products and tools from different areas of life.
