SPARKOH!, the scientific playground where curiosity becomes an adventure

SPARKOH! immediately sets the tone: here, science is lived, touched and experienced. This unique science centre invites both young and old to have fun with science as a family, in a place where wonder is constant. Across 12,000 m² of interactive spaces, the experience is complete, joyful and decidedly active, in the heart of Hainaut, in Wallonia.

From the moment you enter, the atmosphere is contagious. Everything is designed to spark curiosity, inspire exploration and give visitors the pleasure of understanding. At SPARKOH!, you don’t just observe: you experiment, test, laugh, try again and learn without even realising it.

Playing with science, naturally

SPARKOH! stands out for its clearly embraced playful educational approach. Science and technology become a vast playground where everyone progresses at their own pace. Children, from the age of 3, find experiences adapted to them, while adults rediscover the pleasure of exploring phenomena they thought they already understood.

Here, touching is encouraged. Manipulating, observing, comparing and feeling: each installation invites visitors to take an active role in their discovery. Visitors often say that a single day is not enough to see everything, as the experiences are so numerous and varied. And that is precisely what makes people want to return.

A place to enjoy in every season, indoors and outdoors

Another strength of SPARKOH! is its indoor and outdoor character. Whatever the weather, the experience remains complete. The indoor spaces welcome visitors all year round, while the outdoor areas extend the visit whenever the weather allows, adding an even more immersive dimension.

Guided activities structure the discovery and add real value to the visit. Accompanied by passionate facilitators, visitors explore certain themes more deeply, ask questions and dare to experiment in new ways. These shared moments strengthen the feeling of a collective adventure and the satisfaction of understanding something new.

Highlights that leave a lasting impression

Some spaces quickly become visitor favourites. The rainbow tunnel, for example, fascinates as much as it entertains. People enter out of curiosity and leave with stars in their eyes and often with colourful souvenir photos.

The cubic cinema room immerses visitors in a spectacular experience. With projections on five screens and 4D effects, it transforms a film screening into a true sensory adventure. You no longer simply watch a film: you experience it.

And for those who enjoy movement, the indoor acrobatic course adds a physical dimension to the discovery. Climbing, advancing and testing balance: the body becomes part of the experience, and energy flows throughout the venue.
